While we have all been dealing with our quarantine however we have been dealing with it. Some of us have had to still work, and some are not and are at home trying to figure out if that table really needs to be cleaned again, I mean it’s been an hour? Music has been there for us. To keep us sane amidst a pandemic the likes of which we have never seen before.

Conor Oberst came through town last week and provided a fantastic show for true Conor/Bright Eyes fans. The show stemmed from a cancelled show in Cincy in 2018. 

For twenty years, or thereabouts, Conor Oberst has remained one of the preeminent voices in the indie/rock/folk genre. His songs can be brash and loud, or calm and to the point, and political with a hint of romance, and sometimes all in one song. However, you would like to describe him though you can’t leave out that he knows how to write a song.

Forecastle Music and Arts Festival has been a tradition of the Louisville scenic waterfront for the last 15 years. Since 2002, Forecastle has grown into a diverse, eclectic festival that has hosted big names such as Jack White, Modest Mouse, Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin, and many more. This year Forecastle kept the tradition of diverse music selection rolling with headliners Weezer, LCD Soundsystem, and Odesza.
