Pop Punk is alive and well in Cincinnati, Ohio - and Mascots are making sure of it. The five-piece band had humble beginnings in 2014, but has since shared stages like Warped Tour, basements, bars and venues with bands like Neck Deep, Microwave, Hot Mulligan, and Tiny Moving Parts. Their music takes the technicality of a heavier, emo punk sound and combines them with the lyricism and vocalization that draws listeners to Pop Punk fan bases. Mascots stays busy playing shows, creating music, and working hard within DIY and other spaces in the music scene around them. With three EP’s under their belt, 2019 looks to be a heavy-hitter for the fivesome including new music, merchandise and shows.
