All female band Rock Candy was formed in February 2011, when drummer Greta Turpin and bassist/lead singer Polly Hager went on a search for other female musicians and finally found lead guitarist Tanja Resler and rhythm guitarist Amy Lynn.  After the very first jam, it was clear that the band had undeniable chemistry and a lot of potential.  The band worked relentlessly getting material down and getting tight.  In the meantime, other bands were interested in having them as an opening act, bands such as Dangerous Jim and the Rock and Roll Allstars, Alias, Slam'd, Midnight Special, Jadis, Dirty Pink, and Use Your Illusion.  Rock Candy also played many benefits.  They now have a song list of 40+ songs including some originals, and are booking for 2012 on out.  Their song list is a wide variety of classic to current rock covers, including bands like Humble Pie, Jimi Hendrix, Hole, Pink, The Donnas, Gov't Mule, Steve Miller Band, Poison, Def Leppard, Beatles, Kiss, Aretha Franklin, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, White Stripes, Black Crowes, and much more!!!  For bookings, please call Polly Hager at (513) 800-1975. :)
