2016 has seen the release of Ronin's first mixtape Suburban Slowburns, a 10-track effort premiered on Soundcloud that displays aggressive energy, colorful lyricism and calculated songwriting. With a full length album nearing it's completion (PRESSURE alongside Kentucky-based producer SmokeFace) Ronin is gearing up for a very active 2017. While eager to perform in as many cities as possible, there is a strong sense of groundedness and love for Cincinnati's music scene-
"We're looking to go as hard as we can, everywhere and anywhere. So many friends, so many musicians in this city are so dedicated and utterly in love with what they do...it's real hunger. It's stuff that deserves to be heard."
Ronin's energy in the live setting reflects this attitude; a complete devotion to uplifting the audience's spirits and creating an unforgettable experience-
"I just want to be as visceral as possible. The most intense, the most complex, the most relatable...the list goes on. I'm looking at every beat, every stage, like a canvas; I don't want a single misplaced stroke. Ever."
