Tempted Souls brings together a wide range of backgrounds and talents to play an eclectic blend of soul, rock, classic R&B, blues, and standards with a blues feel. The members of Tempted Souls pride themselves on performing songs that are somewhat obscure or eclectic, but still approachable and usually danceable.
    
Formed by guitarist Mark Bubash, Tempted Souls have been around the Cincinnati music scene since 2004. The band was ranked in the top ten at the Cincy Blues Challenge five times and was invited to play as many times at the Cincy Blues Fest. The band has also headlined many other local and regional festivals.

The band features The Sisters Milligan on vocals, who were raised singing together in church from an early age, and have been previously paired in the pop/rock cover band, Hard Candy. Guitarist Mark Bubash grew up in a musical family, and has played in many, many bands over the years, including Little Chicago. Drummer John Griffin played in Rare Form and met Mark when they played together in their church band. And bassist Brother James founded the CEA-nominated blues band, Voodoo Puppet, as well as played with Leo Clarke Band and a number of other blues and rock bands over the years.
