Tourist Trap began in Spring, 2015 with guitarist Nathan Weirich and frontman Roberto Bryer. They met through an online musicians page and began hanging out, practicing and writing songs in hope of finding members to make their project full band. In May 2015, Nathan met bassist Zach Barnes through fellow musicians that lived in the same area and the project had become a three piece. The band began trying out drummers, but it didn't take long before Daniel Greenlee auditioned and made the band on the spot. After months of practicing, writing and recording, the band played their first show in the basement of a house (known as the inaugural First Annual Gnarbeque) and had their crowd of family and friends begging for more. From that moment, the band knew they were doing something unique and began striving for success. In early Spring of 2016, after several more shows and releasing their first demo recorded at the iHeart performance lounge in Columbus, founding member Daniel Greenlee accepted a job offer in Tucson, AZ and had to relocate, leaving Tourist Trap without a percussionist. The band then met Shawn Wiler-Martin, who auditioned to drum for the band and fit the spot perfectly. With their first demo out and their new singles "Hide & Seek" and "Say" released onto all digital outlets, the band began focusing on building clout locally while working on their debut EP. Tourist Trap is on a roll with plans to take over the local music scene and begin touring all over the world.
