If you are a fan of local music, you know Pat Rice. It has been said that if you see Pat at a show, it's going to be a good one. She is always quick with a smile, a chat and has grown to be like family to many in the local music scene. Even to those such as myself who have never been in a band, but is a fan just as she is.
Pat Rice is temporarily in an assisted living home, Oak Pavilion. She is recovering and hoping to get an apartment soon. We need to step up as a community and donate to help her out. Brian Penick and Chris Grannen have organized a paypal account in order to help out Pat. 100% of what is collected goes to Pat, and no donation is too small.
If EVERYONE donates $5 or $10 to Pat Rice, we could REALLY make a difference in her life. So, skip the craft beer or mixed drink at the next show you attend and support a woman who has supported you for years.
