Cincinnati based singer/songwriter Serenity Fisher and her band The Cardboard Hearts are ready to get you in the mood for love. The folksy Indie Pop singer and her band have put together a playlist of love songs, both original and cover to celebrate the day. Fisher, fresh off a tour of Europe to promote her CD, “Rogue Strawberry” has put together a show that includes an impressive talent line up. She will be joined by nationally renowned cellist Michael G. Ronstadt , composer and music producer Bobby Fisher, percussionist Matt Halvorson and CCM grad Rose Reidemiller Gowda on violin.
This will be no ordinary concert. Fisher’s “Love Fest” was originally scheduled on Valentine’s Day. Mother nature and a snow and ice storm had other plans. Now you can enjoy music to warm your heart in warmer weather! Fisher has arranged the songs in a marriage of sorts with performances by area professional dancers Harper K. Lee and JAC Stringer. The performance will also include the talented Missy Williamson, an artistic pole dancer.
“Love Songs” is a one night only performance, Friday March 28 at The Leaping Lizard (726 Main St Covington, KY). Doors open at 8.
