Brad Schnittger (you may know him from The Sundresses or The All Night Party) has been selected as one of the two initial People's Liberty Haile Fellows! The foundation will grant $100,000 to Brad so that he can create an organization he calls MusicLi, a music publishing platform that will afford Local musicians the opportunity to properly document, register, and publish their musical works to an online library. This online library will serve as a two-sided marketplace for advertising agencies to license music! In plain words, Music licensing can get complicated with so many cooks in the kitchen. Brad is going to help people make sense of it all, and connect young musicians with opportunities.
