Son of country legends, Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter, Shooter Jennings lived and breathed music from the time he was born. He spent most of his time growing up on the road. Jennings learned how to play the drums when he was 5 and guitar when he was 14.
It was not until he moved from Nashville to Los Angeles that he really tried to pursue his music career. He assembled a rock band that would soon dissolve due to Jennings’ fascination for country music. Since 2005, he has released 6 records. His latest, “The Other Life”, is a southern rock type of album. Think Kid Rock meets Hank Williams III. “The Other Life” is his best album thus far.
Jennings and the Waymore Outlaws will be performing at The Madison Theater January 28 with Travis Meadows & Josh Morningstar for ages 21 and up. Tickets are $20 in advance and $40 at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
