Are all of these indie - rock bands bringing you down? Does the sound of an acoustic guitar make your skin crawl? Louisville’s Louder than Life Music Festival will happily remedy all of those unnecessary feels from your psyche.
In only its second year, the festival took no precautions on attendee’s bellies and ears. Procured by Gourmet Man Food’s “Cowboy menu”, my only suggestion is to come hungry. Their outrageous monster creations will leave you begging for mercy and yet somehow wanting more. The booze selection targets those who love bourbon and craft beer, and drink up; campgrounds are located next to the venue. Also, before you question me suggesting camping, beer is allowed inside of the grounds.
While your tummy is full of yum-yums and your throat warm from bourbon, festival goers can expect one of the best rock lineups of the summer, from the likes of Beartooth, Butcher Babies, 10 Years, We Came as Romans, and Atreyu, just to name a few. Headliners include Godsmack, and living legends, ZZ Top. To help ensure the inevitable bangover won’t ruin the rest of your time at the 2-day festival, attendees can participate in NXT Wrestling or enjoy Crazy Dave’s Music Experience where concert-goers have the opportunity to play top of the line gear and meet some of the artists performing at the festival.
What will be one the most stacked and booze-filled parties of the year, will run from October 3rd to 4th and ticket information is as follows:
Currently general admission weekend tickets are $99.50, but they will go up to $114.50, Single day tickets are available at 69.50, but will go up to 79.50. VIP tickets and hotel packages are also available.
See you there and keep your drone at home!
