catl. are a high energy rock n’ roll couple hailing from Toronto. The band features Jamie bashing away on his ’48 Gretsch, while Sarah holds down a steady, dirty groove on the 2-piece drum kit. This will be their 4th trip to Cincinnati where they have struck up a friendship with local band The Halvsies. The two bands are teaming up again for another go around the dance floor!
catl. have been described as ‘punk rock blues’ and been affectionately compared to The Cramps and The Flat Duo Jets. They’ll be makin’ their way back home from the 2015 Deep Blues Festival in Clarksdale, MS to finish their pilgrimage of dancin’
and drinkin’ their way through the South. catl. have recorded in Memphis and Detroit and worked with garage rock producer Jim Diamond (White Stripes,The Dirbombs) at the now defunct Ghetto Recorders. They have released 4 full-length LP’s thus far and are headed to Northside Yacht Club on Friday, October 23rd!
