Urban Artifact will be celebrating their 2 -year anniversary on April 22nd with an all day and night music and beer bash featuring some of the area's best musical acts and plenty of wild craft beer choices.
The Urban Artifact brewing team is elated to announce that for their second anniversary party they will be releasing for the first time ever their 100% wild caught barrel aged sour ales in bottles for purchase. This has been over two years in the making from capturing local wild yeast and bacteria, through culturing, fermentation, and barrel aging.
"It has been a literal labor of love, and the team at UA couldn’t think of a better time to begin sharing their wood aged liquid libations than at our second-year anniversary bash!" says Brett Kollman-Baker, Urban Artifact's head of Brewing Operations.
Urban Artifact will have six unique and brand new barrel aged sours, along with the re-release of the once-a-year beer, Palmistry, this time in bottles. Palmistry is a blend of Pineapple, Kumquat, and Guava, a tropical treat. Other bottled releases will consist of UA's anniversary ale, Perpetuum, and the brand new golden sour “Escapement”.
In addition to brand-new bottle releases, UA will also be debuting several vintage cellared beers and some special taproom only variants on draft. Supplies will be limited, so come early and stock up!
UA will be featuring music all day including harpist, Timbre (Jack White) local favorites such as The Harlequins, Wonky Tonk, The Skulx, an Elvis impersonator and much more
