Record Store Day is such a wonderful day of the year for the audiophile with plenty of hot new releases to hunt down and hopefully add to your ever-growing collection. Let’s also not forget some of the amazing live in store performances by some fantastic local bands that makes this a celebration of music in general. If you are kicking yourself for missing out this year (as you should) or wish the party would continue; you’re in luck courtesy of the amazing staff at Everybody’s Records.

Metal F’N Saturday takes place this coming Saturday April 28th. The party kicks off at 12pm and carries on until 6pm. As the name implies, this event celebrates the hard and the heavy side of rock n roll with some awesome local metal and punk bands. The show is free, so your excuse to not show up and support the scene is invalid. You can even enter your name into a drawing to win one of two records signed by Death Metal veterans Morbid Angel just by showing up.

Make sure to take some time digging through the bins as you enjoy the show. Metal Jason and the rest of the staff at Everybody’s Records does a great job keeping the shelves stocked with records, CDs and cassettes that will look better in your collection.
