Soul Step Records have announced that on December 17th, they will be releasing two new vinyl releases. The first is a full-length LP from Holy Ghost Tent Revival, who have re-branded to MOVES. 

MOVES (SSR-040) releases their self-titled debut with a brand-new sound. As members of the band changed as did their sound - it made sense for the band to re-brand. This LP will be great for fans of Lake Street Dive and Houndmouth. It’s a strong batch of well written Americana songs with a strong pop sensibility that will appeal to a broad group of people. Their first three singles (“Sleeping” “Same Thing” “Only Darkness” have already been released and have been meet with praise. 

MOVES will be released on 100 CLEAR BEER vinyl - and following with a standard Black vinyl release. 

Soul Step’s second release will be a split 45 (SSR-044) and their first foray into Holiday music. Side A is Soul Step’s most popular artist Matt Duncan with a brand-new Holiday song titled “This Time In December.” It showcases Matt’s unique brand of 70’s AM Gold, a perfect song to listen to by the fireplace on a cold night. 

The B-Side is one of Soul Step’s newer artists, Nashville’s Pet Envy. Their track “Christmas Forever” is a perfect party song for any Holiday party. It highlights what Pet Envy have come to be known for - high energy and positive indie pop. 

Soul Step’s Holiday 45 will be on 200 translucent Green vinyl and 200 translucent Red vinyl.
