Oliver Hazard Set to Play Fountain Square

Oliver Hazard are an infectious-as-heck, indie folk trio from Waterville, Ohio who have taken a lucky break far beyond expectations. Little over one year ago, the Midwestern friends — who at the time, were all full-time employees in positions entirely unrelated to music — got together to write a collection of minimally considered, raucously felt songs for no purpose other than fun. Shortly after, they entered a Facebook raffle for the studio time required to track and record one song. They won, and instead, recorded ten — live to tape. In less than a month, Oliver Hazard had formed a band, written and recorded their debut album, and become ready to launch a music career.

Catch them at Fountain Square for Fifth & Vine Live on July 12th!

Since, the band has released that debut full-length 34 N. River, nabbed press support from The FADER and Uproxx among others, played coveted festival slots including Bonnaroo, and embarked upon a national tour composed primarily of private living room shows for fervently loyal fans. The band's hometown of Waterville will celebrate the second annual Oliver Hazard Day on August 17. The event that began as the town's first music festival is expected to attract more than 3,000 attendants this year, sponsored by Fender and iHeart Media.
