We had the chance to find out a little more about the song and what is next!

Tell us about the meaning behind “Retrograde”
 I went out to the backyard late one night and I looked up. All things in the sky seemed to be in retrograde.

Retrograde means “moving backwards.” With this past year feeling so backwards, I’m not sure if it was something in my subconscious or not, but we always talk about celestial bodies being in retrograde and their affect on us. So when you take a year like 2020 you can get it in your head like something’s off, things are not going in the correct direction.

I was definitely trying to make something that captured that anxiety and feeling of “backwards” when I created this song. This song and the rest of the album are trying to capture those feelings and thoughts I had during all of last year.

I’m not sure, but I’m pretty confident I’m gonna try to make another video and hopefully do a live stream set or two soon, and when it’s safe, do an actual live show.
