Here’s what’s happening soon:
8/19/2022
Liz Wolf's programming at the Hexagon House (1590 Glen Armand Ave.) continues to be a space to catch some of Cincinnati's most talented and genre omnivorous artists in an idyllic outdoor setting. Pull up a blanket or grab a chair and hear two of Cincinnati's finest sing down the day set to the tune of the insects and birds of the bordering Parker Woods Nature Preserve come alive. After releasing an EP on the legendary LA based label Leaving Records, Muwosi can be found solo or with a full band in tow playing head-bobbing, slightly off-kilter R&B to a dedicated fan base. Joining her is Freedom Nicole Moore. No stranger to live music fans, Freedom Nicole Moore & The Electric Moon have been evolving into a heady, psychedelic mix of indie rock, soul and psych-folk - with recent performances tipping into deeper and deeper psych territory. You love to see it.

Next month:
Celebrating the latest release from Whited Sepulchre Records, the debut album Still Water from the multi-instrumentalist Bailey Miller, will be out 09.02.22 and her release show will be held at Liz Wolf's Northside venture Hexagon House on 09.04.22 as part of the three day WSR Fest put on by Whited Sepulchre Records. Bailey will be joined by Airport People, Lake Mary on Sunday, Midwife, Allison Lorenzen, Brianna Kelly, Desert Liminal, Andrew Elaban + Pete Fosco and Fritz Pape will also be performing throughout the weekend.
“For those uninitiated, Bailey's work is incredibly special. Recorded in a 4 year span during her early 20's where Bailey's life seemed like a speed-run through most of life's off-axis-throwing crucibles, Still Water emerges with a sense of grace and defiance that accompanies most records recorded with the wisdom of another 20 years on the planet. Musically "222" leans into the more delicate folk influences of this record while also hitting some deep synth melodies and floating vocal harmonies.”
Check out the first single here, and make sure to mark your calendars for the full album release September 2, her show on September 4!
