Long time British Heavy Metal band Raven, will be making a stop at The Southgate House Revival on Friday, October 28th. This a great opportunity to check out one of the Godfathers of the “NWOBHM” (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) movement up close and personal. Their raw sound and frenzied approach helped give birth to the Thrash Metal movement of the early 1980’s that gave birth to such acts as Anthrax, Exodus and a little group named Metallica. Raven would eventually go on a US headlining tour with Metallica as their opening act. The rest as they say is history.

Just recently on September 30th, Raven released Leave em Bleeding a compilation album featuring music from their time on SPV Records. Even after all this time Raven is still chugging at new tunes and in March of 2023 they will release a brand new album on Silver Lining Records.

The band is currently on the road as part of their Wiped Out 40th anniversary tour where they will be performing their 2nd studio album in its entirety.
