Josh Eagle at Mammoth Music & Arts Festival

It's a homecoming for former local singer-songwriter Josh Eagle, performing at the first Mammoth Music & Arts Festival this Sunday on the Hummel & Leibel Stage in The Southgate House Revival's parking lot. Currently living in Columbus, Josh’s roots started in Cincinnati all the way back in 2008 with his first solo album Truthful Beginnings. Following that, he and his band, Josh Eagle and The Harvest City released 4 albums, while endlessly touring with their unique Americana-Folk sound. Josh even received the CEA award for Best Singer-Songwriter back in 2010, an accolade that does not go unnoticed here in the local scene.

Since then, Josh moved to NYC while focusing on screenwriting, short stories, and poetry, and in 2020 moved across the country to California, dabbling in experimental pop music with the duo Astrocene.

Since moving back to Columbus, OH Josh has self-produced and released his new album Let’s Just Make Something Beautiful, which is available on all streaming platforms.

Fun facts: Josh loves Neil Young, Kendrick Lamar, and waking up at 5 am.

His music has been heard in film and TV, such as NBC's “The Voice,” Fox’s “House,” and Netflix’s “Virgin River.”
