In a time where most thrash bands see their best days behind them, War Curse have continued to carry the torch for a new generation of headbangers triumphantly. The spirit of the 80’s San Francisco Bay Area Music scene is alive and well within this group. There is plenty of room in War Curse camp as their sound is perfect for the hardcore Metalhead to the kid who is just discovering the genre. Not concerned with trends, styles or remaining “kvlt,” War Curse instead lets their high-energy shows and slick riffs speak for themselves.
Last year, War Curse released their second album, Confession, with legendary heavy metal label Metal Blade Records. Critics loved the album, comparing it to the likes of Exodus, Testament, and even a little band called Metallica. If you are looking for a new thrash band that puts a fresh spin on the old-school style, don’t miss War Curse’s set.
