This Friday, October 11, the final Indie Fridays Powered by CincyMusic of the year is upon us, and it's a special one! The Yugos, Annie D, and Catlea are going to knock your socks off.

In Winter of 2009 two brothers in northern Kentucky, Jordin and Christian Gough, started a band that (if you like; Back to the Future, 80's New Wave, or just feeling good) you will love. Setting the stage for a band full of multi-instrumentalists, Jackson Deal joined and The Yugos were born, setting immediately to writing and recording their first short collection of work, appropriately titled "Y.E.P." The Yugos have spent their career so far growing a very loyal following of not only fans, but real friends, with their admirable D.I.Y. spirit, super high energy live show, and ever-positive vibrations. Cincinnati is lucky to call this group their own.

ANNIE D is the musical project of Ann Driscoll, a multimedia artist who writes, records, and performs songs that fuse the idioms of 60’s pop, horror cinema, and op-ed columns into a funny, bracing, and singular perspective. Driscoll was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and an early affinity for Nirvana and the Beatles inspired her to start writing immediately, crafting songs on a cassette 4-track throughout elementary, middle, and high school. Musical theater, classical music, Radiohead, and the oeuvre of Jon Brion emerged as major influences during these formative teenage years, which yielded the fittingly titled LP, Young Tracks.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Catlea's musical style covers an eclectic spectrum from alt-indie to rock, to pop and EDM. The alt-Indie singer’s vocals range from angelic to raw and powerful. Complimenting their distinctive vocals, Catlea plays piano, acoustic guitar, rhythm guitar, and ukulele.
