As we begin the Holiday Season, it’s important to stop and give thanks for the various things we are thankful for this year, namely the return of live music.

Tri-State Terror is coming to annihilate the Southgate House Revival for 2 killer days of extreme music on August 6th and 7th.

Just as the sun was setting and things were beginning to cool off for the evening, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band took the stage at Riverfront Live to perform an energetic and authentic blues performance.

While Bunbury and Sonic Temple will sadly take this year off, Louisville’s Louder than Life is returning with a vengeance.

The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is heading to Riverfront Live on Friday, May 21st! They also recently released, Dance Songs for Hard Times! We got to catch up with Reverend Peyton prior to the upcoming show!

On Friday May 14th, Hate Icon, will play The Southgate House Revival for a CD release show for the debut album, Submerged in Immoral Effluence. This release is stuffed with 6 fat tracks of totally slapping Ohio Death Metal!

Last Friday, Samantha Fish made her second stop in Cincinnati since the pandemic began. It has been less than a year since she last blew the roof off Riverfront Live and the fans were eager to welcome her back.

There is a dark light at the end of the tunnel folks and it is filled with the sweet savory sounds of Brutal Death Metal!

Samantha, as well as the rest of the band, were on fire and in great spirits during the entire set. Clearly, this was a band that was excited to play live again.

Transplant Productions is bringing the Metal back to the Southgate House on Saturday July 11th. In order to maintain safe social distancing, only 50 tickets will be sold so you need to act fast. This show will sell out.

We may have to wait a little longer until we can enjoy live music again, but luckily Solar Flare are here with their debut release that will no doubt fill that empty void. In a time where we find it a little darker than we would like or a little harder to smile, Solar Flare's hard rocking Power Metal style gives us the strength to go on fighting.

It's a tough time for Metal fans as we find ourselves stuck at home with no live shows to look forward to any time soon. I'm guessing a mosh pit is probably not the best place to be in these crazy times. Fortunately, there have been plenty of music documentaries over the years on the subject of hard rock and Metal.
