The Yawpers Roll into MOTR

The Yawpers are in town at MOTR Pub on Saturday, October 21st with Low Cut Connie! The Yawpers’ recently released third album Boy in a Well is a sensational tragedy set in World War I France about a mother abandoning her unwanted newborn child. But, like the band itself, there’s so much more roiling beneath the surface.

School of Rock Mason to Perform Hurricane Benefit Concert

It has been a devastating hurricane season, so the students at School of Rock Mason are banding together to help those in need. They will perform a benefit concert on Sunday, October 29th at the 20th Century Theater in Oakley Square. All ticket proceeds will be donated to Matthew 25 Ministries to be used in that charity’s hurricane relief efforts.
