On Saturday, August 8th an exciting event, Thrive Stream with CincyMusic LIVE to Benefit Elementz will be taking place on the CincyMusic Facebook page starting at 4p! This event is designed to bring communities and families together and also to inform viewers about the good that Elementz brings to our community.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops are announcing plans to live stream seven free Live From Music Hall concerts this fall as well as additional digital content and physically distanced, in-person events across the region under the CSO In Your Neighborhood banner in lieu of the originally scheduled performances at Music Hall.

The bill, introduced Wednesday, asks for $10 billion in relief money to help venues through the next six months. The funds would be distributed via grants of up to $12 million per venue, or 45 percent of the venues’ operating costs in 2019.

In anticipation of Serpentine Prison, the upcoming debut solo record from Matt Berninger—frontman of critically acclaimed group The National—Berninger is premiering the new track “Distant Axis” alongside a video which he directed with his brother, Tom Berninger, and Chris Sgroi.

This event is designed to bring communities and families together and also to inform viewers about the good that The Welcome Project brings to our community.

In April, Ohio indie pop band Multimagic released their debut LP Manic Daze exclusively on vinyl via Soul Step Records. As the pandemic wore on, the band decided to push back the album’s digital release in order to reevaluate their path forward. Today, the band’s first single from the record, “Believe It” will be available on all streaming platforms with the album to follow on September 4th, 2020.
