Get Your Country On With Buckle Up

We’re barely rested from this past weekend’s Bunbury Music Festival, but Bunbury founder Bill Donabedian has another helping of music for us. This weekend (July 18-19-20) is the inaugural Buckle Up Music Festival, celebrating country and folk music at Cincinnati’s Sawyer Point & Yeatman’s Cove.

Buckle Up brings headliners Alabama, Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, and The Band Perry–plus tons of great undercards like Old Crow Medicine Show and Drive-By Truckers. Dive into the lineup to find a new groove–it’s more diverse than you might expect.

We’ve also partnered with the Bellwether Sessions and Iron Wing Recording Studios to film and release videos from the festival. Watch our media page for these videos from several artists including Eric Paslay, Sleepy Man Banjo Boys, and Sam Hunt.

Meet Lonesome Jared; Old Country with a Modern Appeal Some years back, 5 maybe, there wasn’t all that much country music happening here in town.  We’re always heavy with Indy, Rock and Americana music, but other than Dallas Moore, Straw Boss and a few others, not too many bands were...

Buckle Up Artist Noah Smith to Release EP at tSGHR

You can feel Southern Ohio in Noah Smith’s music.  American Rock and Roll with a country accent fills the room when Smith takes the stage. The singer/songwriter musician has been writing and signing since he was just 12 years old growing up along the banks of the Ohio in Brown County.  Now the...
