Since the release of Logan Brill's breakout debut album 'Walking Wires,' it's been quite a year for the 23-year-old Knoxville native, to say the least.
Brill seemed right at home performing in front of 15,000 fans alongside The Band Perry in Virginia Beach a couple of weeks ago, and has since been asked to return in August for a show with Lee Brice. The week before that, her team tied with Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett to win a large donation for charity at KNCI Sacramento's Golf & Guitars charity event.
Already this year, the rising roots songstress has been invited to join the Country Music Hall of Fame's Artist Membership Program; performed live on NPR's Mountain Stage; had a nationally televised appearance on WGN News; recorded a Daytrotter session and shared stages with legendary artists like Steve Earle and Gary Allan.
Alongside her rapidly growing fanbase, press outlets have embraced Brill's poignant lyrics and refreshingly authentic sound, imbued with a "bluesy American grit" (Southern Living) that distinguishes her as "a far cry from the slick pop country of many of her contemporaries" (The Boot).
Brill will be touring all summer, including performances with Ashley Monroe and Josh Turner, and a set at the Buckle Up Festival in Cincinnati on 7/20, alongside Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, and Eli Young Band.
