Sun Delay will be playing MOTR Pub this Thursday! Joining them are Sunmates (Lexington). 

Sun Delay is a four-piece with a rambunctious and jangly sound. The band’s retro aesthetic allows for the complex beats provided by drummer Cole DeRose to support Lamont Nelm and Andrew Kubiak’s sun-tinged guitar licks while leaving room for driving hooks and catchy choruses. Kubiak and bassist Sam Krimmer share vocal duties, alternating between the confident snarls of garage and the optimism of shimmering 1990s and early 2000s pop-rock. 

The fresh indie rockers have been looking forward to playing this OTR venue since the start of the group, especially after hearing that local staples in the music scene like MULTIMAGIC, Modern Aquatic, The Yugos, and Sylmar have all played there. With ambitions like one day headlining the Woodward Theater for an album release or opening up for some of their main influences on tour they are hoping to make some headway with this show, their first headliner, in wake of some more singles this year.

Sun Delay will also be releasing a single in April, so get ready!
