It’s a great time to be a Todd Rundgren fan.  Todd has been busy with multiple projects and tours over the last couple years.  This fall, he’s back on the road with “It Was Fifty Years Ago Today- A Tribute to The Beatles’ White Album”.  He’s accompanied by Mickey Dolenz (The Monkees), Christopher Cross, Jason Scheff (Chicago), and Joey Molland (Badfinger).  The set will feature both songs from the individual artists and The Beatles’ The White Album (or more accurately– The Beatles’ The Beatles).

On Friday 10/18 at 10 p.m., KNOTTS (CEA New Artist of the Year 2018), Moonbeau (CEA winner of Album of the Year 2018) and Leo Pastel will present Homecoming, a FREE show/conceptual event at MOTR Pub. They will be accepting donations such as women’s formal shoes, rhinestone jewelry and new or gently used prom dresses under 3 years old for Cinderella’s Closet.

After experiencing Bourbon & Beyond last weekend, I came back to Cincinnati with fond memories that still linger like the sweet burn of Kentucky bourbon.

After playing a scorching afternoon set on the first day of Louisville’s Bourbon & Beyond Festival, Charlie Starr (lead vocals and guitar) and Brit Turner (drums) were kind enough to take few minutes to chat with me about growing up steeped in musical influences,  being replaced by holograms , the inequity of who gets in to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and why the owners may want to waterproof it.

Strobobean started out just over a year ago with Katrina Eresman (Guitar, vocals) and Jake Langknecht (Drums, Synth and vocals); Brianna Kelly (Bass and vocals) joined last October, so it’s almost her first-year anniversary.
